Eligibility Criteria – Clear & Accessible
- Current Student Status: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university or recent graduate (within 18 months). Early-career professionals with demonstrated innovation interest are also welcome.
- Academic Performance: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 or equivalent. While grades matter, we value diverse talents including creativity, initiative, and real-world project experience.
- Field of Study: Open to all disciplines—business, engineering, technology, design, social sciences, humanities, and beyond. Innovation requires diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
- Language Requirement: Comfortable with English communication as the forum is conducted in English. Non-native speakers are absolutely welcome; proficiency is what matters, not perfection.
- Age Range: Between 18-32 years old during the forum dates (May 2026). We welcome emerging innovators at all career stages.
- International Applicants Encouraged: This forum celebrates global diversity. Applicants from all countries are invited and strongly encouraged to apply.
- Innovation Passion: Demonstrate genuine interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, or social impact. Your motivation and curiosity are more important than prior business experience.
- No Prior Participation Required: First-time and returning participants are welcome. Priority is given to first-time attendees, but previous participation does not disqualify you.
Step-by-Step Application Process
The application process is designed to identify passionate, motivated innovators. Follow these steps to apply:
Step 1: Register on Portal
Visit the official NEXT Forum website and click on “Apply Now.” Create your account using your email address. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your applicant ID for tracking your application status.
Step 2: Complete Personal Profile
Fill in your biographical information, current educational institution or workplace, field of study/work, and contact details. Ensure all information is accurate and regularly monitored for updates from organizers.
Step 3: Submit Academic Records
Upload your current transcript or academic report showing your GPA and courses completed. If your transcript is in a non-English language, provide an English translation. Recent (within 3 months) academic records are preferred.
Step 4: Write Innovation Statement
Compose a compelling 350-450 word essay answering “What innovation or problem excites you most?” Be specific, personal, and authentic. This is your opportunity to showcase your thinking and passion for innovation.
Step 5: Submit Professional Reference
Provide contact information for one academic professor, workplace mentor, or advisor who can speak to your abilities, character, and innovation potential. They will receive a direct reference request from the forum team.
Step 6: Upload Identification Documents
Submit a clear copy of your passport’s biographical page for visa and travel purposes. Ensure your passport remains valid through June 2026. All documents must be in PDF format, clearly labeled, and under 5MB.
Step 7: Review & Submit Application
Carefully review all submitted information for completeness and accuracy. Check that all required fields are filled. Submit your application before the 9 February 2026 deadline for guaranteed consideration.
Step 8: Await Selection Decision
Applications are reviewed continuously. Shortlisted candidates are invited for brief video interviews in late February. Final acceptance notifications are sent by 15 March 2026 with complete travel and accommodation information.
