About 14th TULIP Summer School 2026
The 14th TULIP Summer School 2026 is one of Europe’s most prestigious, fully funded international summer research program for outstanding graduate students passionate about plant sciences, ecology, evolution, and environmental biology. Hosted by LabEx TULIP in the breathtaking French Pyrenees at Germ Louron Mountain Center, this exceptional 7-day immersive program (June 27 – July 3, 2026) focuses on the theme “Biological Interactions from Genes to Ecosystems.”
The TULIP Summer School 2026 invites exceptional Master’s, Doctoral, and Postdoctoral researchers from around the world to engage in collaborative scientific research. The program is organized by LabEx TULIP, a Laboratory of Excellence at major French research institutions in Toulouse, Moulis, and Perpignan. TULIP completely covers all expenses: accommodation, meals, visits, local transportation from Toulouse to the Pyrenees, and provides a vegetarian menu. There is no application fee, and IELTS is not required. Selected participantsโjust 25 each yearโengage in plenary lectures, collaborative research project workshops, interdisciplinary discussions, and networking with senior and junior researchers.

Eligibility Criteria โ Inclusive Global Access
- Academic Status: Master’s degree students (enrolled in or completing Master’s program), Doctoral degree students (PhD candidates), or Postdoctoral researchers (recently completed PhD). Undergraduate students are NOT eligible.
- Field of Study: Students in plant sciences, biology, ecology, evolution, environmental science, biochemistry, genetics, or related biological disciplines. STEM background with clear connection to biological interactions strongly preferred.
- Research Alignment: Your research interests must align with TULIP themes: biological interactions from genes to ecosystems, plant sciences, ecology, evolutionary biology, or environmental science. Application quality and coherence with TULIP research focus crucial for selection.
- Nationality & Origin: Completely open to applicants from ALL countries worldwide. No geographic, citizenship, or origin restrictions. TULIP actively encourages international diversity across continents and research traditions.

- Funding Capability: Ability to fund international travel to/from Toulouse, France. TULIP covers accommodation and meals but not international airfare. This is the only significant costโparticipants must arrange funding through universities, grants, or personal resources.
